The Boardman City Council heard good news at its meeting on Tuesday.

The council heard from the city’s auditor, Chris Cockburn of Cockburn and McClintock, who gave a review of the city’s 2015-2016 audit. Cockburn said the city had a good, clean, audit with minor exceptions noted in the report.

In other city business, the council tabled a proposed ordinance regarding chronic nuisances. The entire council was not in attendance and the mayor moved this proposed ordinance until the Nov. 1 meeting. There was also discussion about adding language to the Municipal Code regarding political signs.

The next meeting of the Boardman City Council will be Tuesday, Nov. 1 at Boardman City Hall and will begin at 7 p.m.
