Tom Denchel Ford is sponsoring a free kids’ fishing derby on Saturday, April 18 at the McNary Ponds.
The event lasts from 10 a.m. to noon and is for kids ages 2 to 12. Trout will be stocked in the ponds for the derby. Special fish will be tagged for prizes. Kids should bring their own poles and gear, but some loaner poles may be available. An adult must accompany all children.
