Tom Denchel Ford is sponsoring a free kids’ fishing derby this Saturday, April 13 at the McNary Ponds Fountain Pond.
The event lasts from 10 a.m. to noon and is for kids ages 2 through 11. Kids should bring their own poles and gear, but some loaner poles might be available. An adult must accompany all children. Each fish caught must be reeled in by a child 2-11 years old.
