Umatilla Morrow Head Start is promising to give young children a chance to mix fun with learning with its upcoming Learning Picnics.

All children up to age 6 are invited to attend a series of six Learning Picnics this summer. The Learning Picnics are an opportunity for parents or caregivers and their children to explore, learn, and build important literacy skills while having fun. Every child receives a free book, snack and art project each week. Participation is encouraged for all six sessions, but is not mandatory.

No registration is required, and there is no cost to attend. Children must be accompanied by a parent, child care provider or caregiver.
