The Umatilla-Morrow County Head Start is offering a variety of parenting education classes and workshops.
Classes are offered on child development, finances and budgeting, nutrition and healthy cooking, what to do when your child is sick, and more. Classes are available in English and Spanish.
Upcoming Hermiston classes include:
• Nutrition, Aug. 21 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. There is no charge for this class. To register, call 564-8011.
• Ages and Stages, Aug. 27 from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. The class explores changes in your child’s development from birth to age 4. The cost is $5. To register, call Jessi at 564-6868.
• Finances, Aug. 30 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. There is no charge. To register, call 564-8011.
• Breastfeeding, Sept. 9, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. There is no charge. To register, call 667-2545.
• Conversational ESL, Sept. 10, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. There is no charge. To register, call 564-8011.
