Hermiston High School’s Drama Club will present its final performances of the musical “The Wizard of Oz” tonight and Saturday at 7 p.m.

All performances take place in the high school auditorium. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens 65 years and older with ID, and $5 for students. They may be purchased in advance at the high school bookkeeping office or at the door. Seating is general admission, but groups of 10 or more may reserve seats by emailing Dr. Beth Anderson, drama club director, at beth.anderson@hermistonsd.org.

According to Anderson, Toto will be played by a live dog, and the musical includes special effects never before seen on Hermiston High School’s stage.

During intermission, drama club members will be selling refreshments and T-shirts featuring the graphic from the show’s poster. The cast will be available for photos in a designated area outside the theater after each performance.
