Hermiston Resident, Edna Perrin, Passes Away at 73

Edna Sue Perrin, of Hermiston, died on Jan. 7 in Portland at the age of 73.

She was born on Feb. 18, 1940 in Enterprise to Garrett and Susie Pearson Lovell.

Edna was raised and attended school in Enterprise. She then attended Eastern Oregon College where she earned her degree as a registered nurse. Edna worked as a registered nurse for many years. She later drove truck for Bekins Van Lines for several years. Edna married Ivan G. Perrin on May 25, 1995 in Union. They traveled to Arizona during the winter for 10 years, snow-birding. In 2003, they moved to Hermiston where they worked at Pioneer RV Park as the night managers for seven years. She enjoyed camping, traveling, roses, pinochle, fishing and cooking.

She is survived by her husband, Ivan Perrin, Hermiston; daughters, Ronda McDonald and husband, Mike, Denver, Colo., Tammy Higgins, Vernal, Utah; stepchildren, Cindy Timm and husband, Robert, Prineville, Gene Perrin and wife, Shelly, Lebanon, Mo.; daughter-in-law, Kriste Perrin, Middleton, Idaho; brothers, Marvin Lovell and wife, Evelyn, Milton-Freewater, Kyle Lovell and wife, Donna, Union, Skip Lovell and wife, Greta, Toledo; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; and stepson, Timothy Perrin.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Hermiston Cemetery.
