Tamastslikt Cultural Institute will close its season on Aug. 31 with its third annual Kidz Pow Wow.

From 1 to 4 p.m., all children ages 3-12, Tribal and non-Tribal, are invited to participate in the free event. There will be dancing competitions for different age groups and a “Let’s Move in Indian Country” certificate will be awarded to all participants. Other games will be played including hoop and roll, Indian drill, races and other activities.

For a break from the heat, take the kids inside to the permanent exhibit where six new Children’s Spaces are set up with learning activities.

No kids? No problem. The newest exhibit, “Andy Warhol: Cowboys & Indians” is open in the changing gallery and includes a short video on Warhol.
