Region’s Craft Beverages, Cheeses, Chocolates to Be Featured Feb. 17

The Blue Mountain Community College Foundation would like to invite the public to indulge itself at “Imbibe @ Blue,” a new event on Feb. 17 to raise money for student scholarships.

The tasting event will invite ticketholders to sample some of the region’s craft distilled spirits, beers, wines, ciders, chocolates and cheeses all in one location in the Student Union at the BMCC Pendleton campus. Pre-sale tickets are available now.

All proceeds from the evening’s event will benefit student scholarships. Imbibe @ Blue will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17. Vendors will include:

Wineries: Castillo de Feliciana Vineyard & Winery (Milton-Freewater); Copper Belt Winery (Baker City); Don Carlo Vineyard (Milton-Freewater); Echo Ridge Cellars (Echo).

Breweries: Barley Brown’s Beer (Baker City); Echo Ridge Cellars (Echo); Prodigal Son Brewery (Pendleton).

Distilleries: Glacier 45 Distillery (Baker City); Oregon Grain Growers Brand Distillery (Pendleton).

Cheese/Chocolate: Cheese Louise (Kennewick, Wash.); Lavender Mercantile (Pendleton);
Umapine Creamery (Umapine).

The 21 and over “casual-dressy” event is sponsored by LKV Architects, the Wildhorse Foundation and Elkhorn Media Group. Pre-sale tickets are on sale now for $25 at Pendleton Art + Frame and by calling the BMCC Foundation, 541-278-5775. Tickets will also be available at the door for $30.

Tickets include a special wine or pint glass and tasting tickets, as well as food by Simply Catering. Additional tasting tickets, as well as full glasses and bottles will be available for purchase at the event.
