Rose Mary Bozarth died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013 at her home in Irrigon at the age of 82.

She was born May 18, 1930 at Payette, Idaho to Robert and Minnie (McVae) DeLore.

Rose was raised in Payette and Warrenton, Ore. She moved to the Hermiston area in 1950 and finally to Irrigon in 2004. She was a Life Member of the Umatilla Sage Riders and rode in many parades with her mother, Minnie. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and most of all, her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Julie (Dar) Widmar of Hermiston, Pearl (Craig) Hansen of Hermiston, Stan Byrd of Richland, Wash., Lee Byrd of Stanfield, Toni (Brad) Emerson of Irrigon, Peggy (Matt) Cooper of Irrigon, Sunday (Bob) Stubbs of Heppner, and Patricia (Eric) Fleming of Pendleton; ex-husband, Mike Graham; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Minnie DeLore; sons, Melvin and George Byrd; husbands, Harvey Bozarth, Albert “Pat” Patterson, and Louis Byrd.
Memorial services were held on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Hermiston. Disposition was by cremation.
