The following are recent arrests made by the Hermiston Police Department:
Jan. 1: Wendi Louise Fisher, 51, was cited and released near E. Highland Avenue and S.E. Banker Drive for restraining order violation.
Dec. 31: Brenton Seth Handforth, 41, was arrested on the 100 block of S.W. 12th Street and charged with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree criminal mischief (not vandalism), and unlawful use of a weapon (other).
Dec. 29: Jessy M. Duran, 31, was arrested near S. Highway 395 and E. Highland Avenue and charged with third-degree theft (shoplifting less than $100).
Dec. 27: David Lynn Hickox, 65, was arrested on the 300 block of S. First Street and charged with hit and run – property and giving a false report.
Dec. 24: Shalon Garlynn Angel, 46, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000).
Dec. 23: Benito Ortiz Jeronimo, 20, was arrested near N.E. Fourth Street and E. Hurlburt Avenue and charged with DUII – alcohol and operating a vehicle without driving privileges (no OPS).
Dec. 22: Amber Danielle Gomez, 36, was arrested on a warrant on the 500 block of N.W. 11th Street and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear.
Dec. 19: Devin Lindsey Christensen, 32, was arrested on the 700 block of Main Street and charged with mail theft (other).
Dec. 19: Anthony James Lott, 34, was arrested on the 700 block of Main Street and charged with mail theft (other).
Dec. 18: Heather Dawn Hartwig, 43, was arrested on a warrant on the 600 block of N.W. 11th Street and charged with misdemeanor probation violation.
Dec. 17: Heather Dawn Hartwig, 43, was arrested on the 1100 block of W. Joseph Avenue and charged with violation release agreement and fourth-degree assault (simple assault).
Dec. 17: Shantel Renee Santiago, 44, was arrested on the 4700 block of N.W. Pioneer Place and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000).
Dec. 17: Michael Von Vertrees, 46, was arrested on a warrant on the 900 block of S. Highway 395 and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear.
Dec. 17: Crecencio Avila Mendez, 32, was arrested on the 1700 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree disorderly conduct.
Dec. 16: Santiago Lopez Jimenez, 33, was cited and released near W. Hermiston Avenue and S.W. 10th Street for reckless driving, DUII – alcohol, driving while suspended or revoked violation, driving uninsured, and open container.
