The Two Rivers Correctional Institution, 82911 Beach Access Road, will host a meet-and-greet event 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
The open house encourages those interested in becoming correctional officers to chat with the staff and complete an application. The TRCI is looking to hire correctional officers in Umatilla. Attendees are asked to not wear blue jeans, shorts, camouflage or open-toed shoes. Tours of the facility will be offered.
To be considered, applicants must be 21 or older at the time of application, have a high school diploma or GED and U.S. citizenship or obtain citizenship within one year. Applicants must also pass a criminal background check, health screening, drug screening and psychological evaluation. Additionally applicants are asked to bring a valid photo ID to the event.
