Paul Edward Johnson of Irrigon passed away on Jan. 30, 2024 after a lengthy illness at the age of 44.
He was born on Oct. 31, 1979 in Youngstown, Ohio. Paul was a beloved son, brother and father.
Paul attended Kittitas High School in Kittitas, Wash., as well as Thurston High School in Springfield.
Paul had a passion for cooking. He found joy in watching cooking shows on TV, always eager to expand his culinary knowledge. Alongside his love for cooking, Paul also enjoyed video gaming, finding entertainment and relaxation in the virtual world.
Paul is survived by his son, Cameron Johnson of Ellensburg, Wash.; his mother, Marlene Newlun of Irrigon; and his brother, Rick Johnson of Ellensburg, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Johnson and his sister, Stephanie Johnson.
A celebration of life will be held for Paul and his sister, Stephanie at a later date to honor and remember both of their vibrant spirits and the impact they both had on those around them.
