Good Shepherd Health Care System is hosting a free Gatekeeper training session on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at the Hermiston campus, 610 N.W. 11th St.
Gatekeeper training, provided by QPR (Question, Persuade and Refer) Institute in Spokane, Wash., teaches trainees how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade and refer someone to help.
