No injuries were reported Tuesday in a fire on Robnett Street in Hermiston.
The Umatilla County Fire District No. 1 was dispatched at 11:53 a.m. to a structure fire on Robnett Street. Upon arrival, crews came across a salvage pile on fire. Crews went into a defensive attack to protect multiple structures nearby.
Umatilla Rural Fire Protection District provided mutual aid and helped to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire started due to metal cutting, according to the fire district.
