Richard Allen French of Boardman passed away in Boardman on July 7, 2024 at the age of 49.
He was born on Sept. 27, 1974 in Pendleton to Denise Dallman and Pat Stoltz.
Richard grew up in Pendleton, where he graduated from high school in the class of 1994. He then attended Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, where he received an associate degree in wildlife and fisheries. He worked for the Washington Department of Fish and Game for 14 years. He had worked in construction for the carpenters’ union for the past eight years.
Richard enjoyed hunting and fishing, supporting his daughter in her softball sport, and riding motorcycles. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends!
Richard married Amy Horning in Coeur d`Alene, Idaho on Dec. 20, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Amy French; daughters, Audrey French and Lydia Friend; stepsons, Riley and Jordan Horning; stepdaughter, Kaycee Friend; four grandchildren; parents, Pat and Denise Stoltz; two sisters, Shawna Snapp and Sheila Davis; and many extended family members.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Skyview Cemetery in Pendleton.
Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements.
