The second annual Service Organization Fair will be held on Tuesday, Oct 1 at the Hermiston Community Center.
The event, put on by the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce, will go from 2 to 6 p.m.
Those attending will learn about nonprofit groups in the community, available resources and volunteer opportunities. KOHU will broadcast the event live.
Chamber Director Val Hoxie said she expects more than three dozen organizations to be on hand for the event. For more information, call the chamber at 541-567-6151.
I wish I had known earlier. The Hermiston Senior Center would like to be involved but
it’s our meal day. We put out over 100 meals every Tuesday & Thursday and are always
needing volunteers.
We do have a monthly menu and hand out with our meetings, classes & activities available.
