The Pendleton Friends of the Library will host its annual book sale Oct. 24-26 at the Pendleton Convention Center.
The book sale is the PFOL’s largest fundraiser of the year with more than 50,000 books and media for sale including children’s books, adult fiction, non-fiction, music CDs and DVDs. This year, the book sale will feature an expanded selection of rare books, ephemera and bookish gifts, including PFOL branded apparel and Storiarts selections. All funds raised go to PFOL to support programs, materials and other needs at the Pendleton Public Library.
The 2024 annual Book Sale will open with a member preview sale from 7- p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24. Admission to the preview night will be limited to those with a PFOL membership, which can be purchased or renewed at the door or in advance of the sale online. Memberships begin at $10 per year.
Public sale dates for the 2024 Book Sale are 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, and 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26. The sale ends with the $3 Bag Sale from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26.
All books are sold first-come, first-served, and books cannot be reserved or placed on hold.
