The following are recent arrests made by the Hermiston Police Department:
Sept. 23: Steven Leslie Sawyer, 66, was arrested on the 1100 block of N. First Place and charged with harassment (A) offensive physical contact (simple assault).
Sept. 23: Carrie Lynn Marshall, 30, was arrested near Newport Avenue and S.E. Fifth Street and charged with misdemeanor probation violation, misdemeanor failure to appear, and third-degree theft less than $100 (other).
Sept. 23: Brandon Michael Hobart, 33, was arrested on the 600 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree assault, first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal mischief (vandalism), and unlawful use of a weapon (aggravated assault).
Sept. 23: Florinda Gonzalez Coleman, 61, was arrested at United Rentals and charged with DUII – alcohol and failure to drive within lane.
Sept. 22: Pahola Guardado Ochoa, 30, was arrested on the 1000 block of W. Madrona and charged with restraining order violation.
Sept. 22: Danielle Marie Collins, 51, was cited and released on the 1300 block of N. First Street for second-degree theft $101-$1,000 (other).
Sept. 22: Joshua Anthony Lee Owens, 25, was cited and released at the Hermiston Police Department for hit and run – property.
Sept. 22: Juan Hernandez Martinez, 39, was arrested near E. Diagonal Boulevard and E. Main Street and charged with misdemeanor probation violation.
Sept. 22: Luis Alberto Sosa Vazquez, 30, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. Highway 395 and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000).
Sept. 22: Juan Antonio Velazquez-Toledo, 35, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. Highway 395 and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000).
Sept. 21: Brayan Ramiro Asencio Velasquez, 28, was arrested near W. Orchard and S.W. 10th Street and charged with DUII – alcohol.
Sept. 21: Coya McDermott, 22, was arrested on the 2200 block of S. Highway 395 and charged with DUII – alcohol, reckless driving, and hit and run – property.
Sept. 21: Russell Gene Whitbeck, 64, was arrested on a warrant on the 700 block of S. Highway 395 and charged with misdemeanor probation violation.
Sept. 20: Gordon James Rock, 56, was arrested on the 400 block of S.W. 11th Street and charged with failure to report as a sex offender.
Sept. 20: Christina Marie Rodriguez, 39, was arrested on the 500 block of W. Harper Road and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear.
