HERMISTON — Chipotle Mexican Grill will open its doors to the Hermiston location Friday, Nov. 21.

The restaurant features the franchise’s Chipotlane, a drive-thru pick-up lane that allows customers to pick up digital orders without leaving their vehicles.

Chipotle, which first opened in Denver in 1993, is known for its bowls, tacos and Mission burritos made to order in front of the customer.

Hermiston customers will get the opportunity to try a new menu item, carne asada as well as Chipotle’s newest sauce, red chimichurri, for a limited time.

The new restaurant offers the Build-Your-Own-Chipotle in which customers can bring the customizable Chipotle experience to their homes. The new option serves four to six people and customers can get $10 off their first Build-Your-Own-Chipotle order with the code TRYBYOC* through the end of the year.

The franchise also is catering to college students with its Chipotle U Rewards, a program designed for college students who can enroll online.

Chipotle also announced it was hiring at the Hermiston location. For more information, visit the Chipotle website.

Chipotle Mexican Grill’s Hermiston restaurant will be open seven days a week from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.
