    HERMISTON, OR – Good Shepherd Health Care System (GSHCS) proudly welcomes Dr. Joshua Stanfield, a Board-Certified Family Medicine & Osteopathic Medicine Physician, to its team at Good Shepherd Primary Care located at 600 NW 11th St, Suite E-37 in Hermiston, OR.

    “We are excited that Dr. Stanfield is joining our Primary Care team,” shared GSHCS President & CEO Art Mathisen. “His unique skillset in comprehensive primary care for the whole family will greatly enhance the services we offer to our patients.”

    Dr. Stanfield earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, WA. He completed his residency at the Central Washington Family Medicine Residency in Yakima and furthered his training with a Maternal Child Fellowship at the Southern New Mexico Family Medicine Residency Program in Las Cruces, NM. Dr. Stanfield is Board Certified by both the American Board of Family Medicine and American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.

    “I started my medical career here locally as an Army Medic at the Umatilla Chemical Depot, so it feels wonderful to return to practice in this community,” shared Dr. Stanfield. “As a Family Medicine Physician, I offer comprehensive care for patients of all ages. In addition, I will be working closely with the Family Birth Center team to provide deliveries, cesarean sections, tubal ligations and more.”

    Dr. Stanfield joins an esteemed team of eight providers at Good Shepherd Primary Care offering the full spectrum of Family Medicine services, including:

    Outside of work, Dr. Stanfield enjoys spending quality time with his wife and dog. He loves hiking, working on puzzles, and cherishing moments with family.
