Raymond E. “Ray” Brown died on March 25, 2013 in Hermiston at the age of 65.
He was born on May 28, 1947 in Whittier, Calif., to William and Virginia Taylor Brown.
Ray was raised and attended schools in Texarkana, Texas, graduating from Texarkana High School. He then moved to Los Angeles. Ray married TamaLee Wayman on July 18, 1981 in Santa Barbara, Calif.
They lived in Whittier for 12 years before moving their family to Hermiston in 1992 where they have lived since. Ray worked for ConAgra Foods as a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, camping, classic rock concerts and working on cars. He was a jack of all trades and his specialty was making chili.
He is survived by his wife, Tami Brown, Hermiston; daughters, Jamie Brown, Devon Jensen and Lybbie Brown, all of Hermiston; and a grandson, Cole Jensen.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents.
A private family service will be held.
