James Francis “Jim” Hall died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at his home in Hermiston at the age of 70.
He was born Aug. 27, 1942 at Pendleton to James Carlton and Ruth Alice (Nunn) Hall.
Jim graduated from Umatilla High School. On July 2, 1980 he married Joyce Elaine Berry in Richland, Wash. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Hermiston.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Joyce (Berry) Hall of Hermiston; son, Keith Hall of Sheridan; stepsons, David Berry of Hermiston, and Darrny Brown of Reno, Nev.; daughters, Josie Warner and Dena Brugter both of Allen, Texas; stepdaughter, Kristina Salchenburg of Hermiston; brother, Ed (Shirley) Hall of Pendleton; sister, Barbara (Dan) Horn of Hermiston; aunt, Dorothy Schild of Milton-Freewater; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by parents, Carl and Ruth Hall; sister, Carla Howard; and stepson, Robert Breland.
At his request, there will be no services held. Disposition was by cremation. Private inurnment will be at the Hermiston Cemetery.
