Revetta Lee May died Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Wash., at the age of 79.
She was born on July 5, 1934 at Woodward, Okla., to Robert Lee and Ola Mina (Gardner) Chapman. She was raised in Oklahoma and moved to Stanfield in 1949. Revetta lived all her life as a homemaker in the Hermiston/Stanfield/Irrigon area.
She enjoyed singing, arts, crafts, doing flower arrangements, flowers, the outdoors, the mountains, the ocean, and she loved her grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her children, Becky (David) Selz of Irrigon, Debbie (Rick) Mooney of Hermiston, and Kevin (Renee) Long-May of Hermiston; sister, Arlene (Ken) Peters of Hermiston; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Gene May; and brother, Clarence Chapman.
A private family celebration of life service will be held in Hermiston. Disposition was by cremation.
