The Umatilla Chamber of Commerce will host the grand opening of The Village on the Green, formerly known as the Desert River Inn in Umatilla.
The event takes place at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19. Those attending can sample some of the dishes The Village has to offer as well as see all the changes made to the restaurant. The Village on the Green is located next to the Big River Golf Course in McNary.
