Weather Service Issues Heat Advisory for Wednesday

With temperatures expected to reach as 105 today, the National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for the Lower Columbia Basin until around 9 p.m.

Temperatures will remain hot for the rest of the week, but will likely stay below 100 degrees after today. The weather service is forecasting highs of 99 on Thursday and 98 on Friday through Sunday. Nighttime won’t bring much relief, as overnight temperatures are not expected to drop any lower than 68 degrees this week.

There’s a 20-percent chance of a thunder storm on Friday and Saturday after 11 a.m.
