Search Warrant Leads to Arrests, Drug Charges

Two Hermiston people were arrested Tuesday on drug charges after complaints were made about suspicious activity at their residence.

The Blue Mountain Narcotics Enforcement Team (BENT) executed a search warrant around noon at 1030 W. Madrona Ave., in Hermiston. The search warrant came as a result of complaints received about suspicious activity at the residence.

Approximately two grams of suspected methamphetamine, packaging materials, and scales were seized. Brent D. Dickinson, 39, was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, endangering the welfare of a minor, and frequenting/maintaining a place where controlled substances are used. Dickinson also had an arrest warrant out of Hermiston M unicipal Court for failure to appear. He was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail in Pendleton.

Alyshia B. Bowe, 34, was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, endangering the welfare of a minor, and frequenting/maintaining a place where controlled substances are used. She was also lodged at the Umatilla County Jail in Pendleton.

“Our detective assigned to that unit was instrumental in developing information to apply for and obtain a search warrant,” said Hermiston Police Chief Jason Edmiston. “Though BENT is actively involved in larger scale operations, their ability to positively impact a neighborhood in our community is a testament to their overall mission.”
