The Best of the West AAU basketball tournament will be held in Hermiston this weekend.
Games start Saturday at 9 a.m. and are scheduled throughout the day with final games starting at 8:40 p.m. On Sunday, play begins at 8 a.m., and the tournament’s closing games are set to start at 6:20 p.m.
According to coordinators, the tournament currently has 114 teams registered and is set to play in 250 games. With family and friends attending the games as well, Hermiston is expected to have more than 4,000 visitors in town patronizing hotels, stores, and restaurants.
