Jim Botz Passes Away at Age 68

James “Jim” Boltz died Friday, April 24, 2015 at Wenatchee, Wash at the age of 68.

Jim is the son of Bernard and Lillian Boltz. Jim was residing in Moses Lake, Wash., at the time of his death.

Jim was born in Igloo, S.D., on Sept. 1, 1946 where he resided until 1966, when the family relocated to Hermiston.

Jim’s job took him to Moses Lake in 1980 and he was still residing there at the time of his death. He worked for Payless Stores for many years and then Union Carbide, both in Moses Lake. Jim loved to fish and was an avid sports fan, with the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Green Bay Packers being his favorite teams.

Jim was preceded in death by infant son, Anthony; sister, Patty; and parents, Bernard & Lillian.

He is survived by daughter, Holly and son, Josh both of Moses Lake; grandson, Jayce; sisters, Priscilla Krumholz of Denver, CO, Sharon Kaping of Hermiston, OR, and Jan of Seattle, WA; brothers, George of Pendleton, OR, and Dave of Irrigon, OR; numerous nephews & nieces.

Jim will be buried at the Hermiston Cemetery.

The family will hold a private graveside service.
