Wyden in Pendleton, Boardman Today

U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden will hold town halls in Umatilla and Morrow counties today.

At the Umatilla County town hall, Wyden will meet Pendleton High School Spanish teacher Kathryn Youngman, whose cancer fight has inspired Wyden to join her students in the #YoungmanOnEllen campaign working to get her invited to the Ellen DeGeneres show.

“I look forward to hearing from Eastern Oregonians about their ideas to make our state and country an even better place,” Wyden said. “These face-to-face conversations are essential because they are the best way to hear directly from citizens.”

Wyden’s first town hall will be at 9 a.m. at Pendleton High School, 1800 N.W. Carden Ave.

The senator will then hold a town hall meeting at 3:30 p.m. at the SAGE Center, 101 Olson Road in Boardman.
