The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Blue Mountain Community College will offer a Beginning QuickBooks Pro course to the community June 22 and 29 from 6-8 p.m.
The course is two sessions, and participants should plan to participate in both. The class is just $100.
The June 22 session will focus on opening a new company and setting up the items, vendors, customers, and other information in QuickBooks, as well as reviewing the different types of forms QuickBooks has available to users. The June 29 session will focus on how to enter and pay bills, print or write checks, as well as how to reconcile a checkbook.
In addition, participants will learn how entries affect profit and loss statements, as well as the balance sheet.
