Wildhorse Resort & Casino will be the place to be on July 30 with concerts featuring Vanilla Ice and Morris Day & the Time and a Seattle-based hip hop and break dance group.
Massive Monkees will perform at Wildhorse and will bring their specialized and skilled form of dancing to the day-long event.
Massive Monkees were third on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew. Have appeared in two Macklemore videos, at the VANS Warp Tour, in ad campaigns for Xbox, Kenneth Cole, Nordstrom and Microsoft. They have been in Forbes Magazine as well as Rolling Stone. And Seattle, not only named them People of the Year, but also gave them their own “Massive Monkees Day.” The crew has won or placed in hundreds of competitions and performed on stages from the MTV Music Awards to the Golden Stage at the Villette Street Festival in Paris, France.
Massive Monkees will perform at Wildhorse Resort & Casino five times an hour from 4 p.m. to midnight at various locations in the casino.
Gates to the Vanilla Ice show will open at 6 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $59 for Platinum, $49 for Gold and $29 for lawn. Tickets are on sale now at wildhorseresort.com or in the Wildhorse Gift Shop. A no host bar is available for those 21 and older.
