2-Way Tie at Farm-City Saddle Bronc Riding

The Farm-City Pro Rodeo kicked off Wednesday evening in Hermiston with several cowboys posting solid scores in the rough stock events.

In the saddle bronc riding event, Tyrell Smith on Navajo Sun, and Sterling Crawley on Weary Joke, both came away with scores of 83.

R.C. Landingham sits atop the bareback standings with a score of 81.5 Wednesday night. That topped Grant Denny’s 78.5, Nick Gutzwiler’s 78, J.R. Vezain’s 77, and Cody Kiser’s 74.

Kurtis Turner was the only cowboy to last the full 8 seconds in the bull riding event. Turner had a score of 81 while riding Grand Slam.

The fastest time of the night in tie-down roping was turned in by Clint Robinson with 9.8 seconds. The top time in team roping went to Jr. Dees and Matt Zancanella with 4.8 seconds. Kimmie Wall had the top run around the barrels at 17.09 seconds.

In steer wrestling, Taz Olson came away with the best time of the night at 4.5 seconds, topping Chason Floyd’s 5 seconds. Clayton Haas has the best average time with 10.3 seconds.
