The Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department is encouraging area kids to take part in next month’s Dancing with Hermiston Stars event.
A total of 24 youth dancers ages 6 to 12 will take part in the Desert Arts Council event on Jan. 14. Eight boys and 18 girls are needed. Registration is first come, first served. There is no fee. Practice will be from 5 to 6 p.m., Jan. 9-12 with the performance taking place at 7 p.m. on Jan. 14.
