Today is the final day in the contest between Hermiston, Portland and Tillamook to see which city wins $20,000 worth of new playground equipment.
Whichever of the three cities has the most votes by the end of teh day will win the equipment. If Hermiston wins, the new equipment will be installed at Sunset Park, which is currently closed due to old, unsafe playground equipment.
As of 6 a.m. today, Hermiston had 14,472 votes while Portland had 13,075 with Tillamook third with 1,597 votes (thanks for playing, Tillamook).
