The Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department is offering a great opportunity for youth to learn the basics of theater and gain confidence and friends at the same time through participation in the Children’s Community Theater.
Kids will train and rehearse with instructor Jennie Walker for about eight weeks before performing the play “Fearsome Pirate Frank” for the community.
Participation is open to those at least 9 but not yet 18 years of age. The cost is $50 for residents and $63 for non-residents. Classes will meet at the Hermiston Community Center Mondays and Wednesdays, from 5:15 to 7:15 p.m, Sept. 20-Nov. 13.
