Patricia E. “Patti” Morrison died on Nov. 3, 2017 at her home in Hermiston at the age of 71.
She was born on May 26, 1946 in Berkeley, Calif. to David and Katherine Kaney Morrison.
Patti was raised in Sacramento, Calif., graduating from Rio Del Norte High School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Marylhurst University in Portland. She married William Sheller and they had two sons, Brian and Steven, before later divorcing.
Patti lived in Southern California before moving to Oregon in the mid 1980s to be closer to her children. She worked in accounting for Sanitary Disposal and Meggitt Polymers and Composites in McMinnville for many years. She lived in Seaside for a few years before moving to Hermiston in 2015, where she had lived since. She enjoyed supporting her sons and grandchildren in their many sporting and extracurricular activities through the years. She was an avid “Jeopardy” and sports fan and enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, crafts and quilting.
Patti is survived by her sons, Brian Sheller and wife Angie, McMinnville and Steve Sheller and wife Karen, Hermiston; brothers, Paul Morrison and wife Kay, Sacramento, Calif. and Jack Morrison and wife Sandy, Seaside; and grandchildren, Kayla, Amanda, Joshua, Reece and Conner.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
