Umatilla County Historical Society to Hold Heritage Luncheon on Saturday

The Umatilla County Historical Society will hold their annual Heritage Luncheon this Saturday, Oct. 6 at the Pendleton Convention Center, 1601 Westgate. The event begins at noon.

Keynote speaker Paul Green will deliver an entertaining and informative talk titled “Umatilla County Pioneers: The Audacity of Eastern Oregon Wheat Growers.” He has served U.S. agriculture for the last 40 years in the private sector, promoting federal policies to help farmers expand their ability to feed the world.
