The Hermiston Police Department posted a recap on Facebook of their activities over the weekend. Here’s a rundown of what kept them busy:
- Took 1 burglary report which included an aggravated theft
- Made 4 arrests for shoplifting
- Arrested 2 people for possession of drugs
- Arrested 7 people on multiple warrants
- Provided 4 assists to other agencies
- Took 2 trespass complaints, 1 of which resulted in an arrest
- Responded to 6 disturbances, 2 of which were domestic disturbances, 1 of which resulted in an arrest
- Covered several motor vehicle accidents, 2 of which were hit-and-run crashes
- Responded to multiple suspicious circumstance calls
- Picked up 1 stray dog
- Made several traffic enforcement stops
glad to see traffic enforcement stops. I don’t know why there are not more accidents with all the people I see that run red lights. it is really bad at Elm and 395.
