Grammy nominee Banda Machos will surge into Pendleton on Friday, May 10, to perform live at Wildhorse Resort & Casino.

This 12-member Mexican band from Jalisco has been entertaining audiences for over 26 years throughout the U.S. and Mexico.

Banda Machos have released over 30 albums and are known for numerous hits like “El Puchoncito,” “Ingratos Ojos Mios,” “Mi Chica Ideal,” and “Quatro Meses.”  Combining banda and cumbia sounds, the group labels their genre as “technobanda” and their concerts incorporate a variety of sounds that appeals to a broad market of music lovers.

Almost as much for their music, Banda Machos is admired for the intricate custom-made outfits worn on stage. The colorful, embellished jackets and boots are the signature of the band and contribute to their popularity on YouTube.

Adding to their fame, group members appeared as the main characters in the movie “Crossing the Line” and their songs were featured in the films “My Family (Mi Familia)” with Edward James Olmos and “Get the Gringo” with Mel Gibson.

Banda Machos frequently perform alongside Ramón Ayala.  Ayala brought two of the largest audiences in history to Wildhorse Resort & Casino in 2017 and 2018.

Itzy Tacos will be on location selling their signature cuisine, a dance floor will be set up, and there will be an after party with DJ Esparza.

Tickets can be purchased online at wildhorseresort.com and at the Wildhorse Gift Shop.  Reserved seating is sold out but general admission is still available for $69.  Doors open at 6pm, show starts at 8pm.  This event is for ages 21 and over.
