Open House for Student-Built Home Set for June 3 at Angus Court

Students in the Columbia Basin Student Homebuilders Program (CBSHP) invite the community to the Open House of Fieldstone #5, located in the Fieldstone Crossing subdivision in Angus Court on June 3, from 1-6 p.m.

Community members can expect guided tours of the high quality house made by high school students from Hermiston, Umatilla and Stanfield.

High school students enrolled in Career Technical Education courses are deeply involved in all facets of the student-built homes—concept, design, construction, landscaping, and oversight. Hermiston High School senior Madison Anderholm designed this year’s home, while she was in Computer Aided Design class last school year.

FFA students will landscape the house once it gets closer to completion. This year’s home comes with the following amenities:
