Oregon East Symphony to Give Final Performance of Season on June 14

The Oregon East Symphony will present their final performance of the season, “Summer, Saint-Saëns, & A Symphony,” on Friday, June 14 at the Vert Auditorium, 480 S.W. Dorion Ave. in Pendleton.

The program begins at 7:30 p.m. and includes Brahms’s Fourth Symphony and Saint-Saëns’s Piano Concerto No. 2, featuring soloist Dr. Artina McCain. McCain is an assistant professor of piano at the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music at the University of Memphis and is a three-time Global Music Awards winner.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, $15 for students and $65 for families. They’re available at Pendleton Art & Frame; the symphony office at 345 S.W. 4th; online; and at the door. For more information, call 541-276-0320.
