The Blue Mountain Community College Foundation will hold its third annual “Imbibe @Blue” event on Saturday, Feb. 22, to raise money for student scholarships.

The tasting event, sponsored by CHI St. Anthony Hospital, will invite ticketholders to sample some of the region’s craft distilled spirits, beers, wines, ciders, chocolates and cheeses all in one location in the Student Union at the BMCC Pendleton campus.

This year’s theme is “All That Glitters is Gold,” and guests are encouraged (though not required) to dress to the theme. Dress is dressy-casual. Pre-sale tickets are available now for just $25, and available at the door for $30.

All proceeds from the evening’s event will benefit student scholarships. Imbibe @Blue will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22.

The 21 and over event is sponsored by CHI St. Anthony Hospital, Oregon Grain Growers Brand Distillery, Elkhorn Media Group, Creative Signs, East Oregonian, MDA Insurance and Bank of Eastern Oregon. Other donors include Cam Preus, Sylvia Clawson, Lorie Baxter and George Murdock.

Just 150 tickets are available. Pre-sale tickets are on sale now for $25 at Pendleton Art + Frame, the BMCC Bookstore and by calling the BMCC Foundation at 541-278-5775. Remaining tickets will also be available at the door for $30. Tickets include a special wine or pint glass, all tastes, and hearty appetizers by Simply Catering. Full glasses and bottles will be available for purchase at the event by many vendors.
