The Oregon East Symphony & Chorale will present two performances of the Winter Moons concert this weekend, March 14-15 in Pendleton and Hermiston.
Maestro Beau Benson will lead the symphony in the performance of two ballet suites: Winter Moons by Jerod Tate and Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copland. Saturday’s performance is at 7:30 p.m. in the Bob Clapp Theatre at Blue Mountain Community College, 2411 N.W. Carden Ave. in Pendleton. Then on Sunday, the concert will be at 2 p.m. in the Hermiston High School auditorium, 600 S. First St. Tickets are available online. For more information, call the symphony office at 541-276-0320.
