The city of Hermiston is hosting a volunteer work party as part of the I Love My City service day on Saturday, May 1.
Volunteers can meet at McKenzie Park at 9 a.m. for downtown clean-up assignments, including litter and weed removal and general landscaping. The morning will conclude with a hot dog lunch at McKenzie Park provided by the Hermiston Lions Club.
I Love My City is a Hermiston-based day of service organized by eight community churches and the city of Hermiston. More information is available online.
