The American Red Cross states that someone in the United States needs blood every two seconds.
Umatilla Electric Cooperative and the Columbia Basin Board of Realtors partnered together with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on Monday, Nov. 7 at the UEC Hermiston office. The event exceeded the American Red Cross’ goal for blood donations and will look to host another event in the future.
