Blue Mountain Community College (BMCC) will host a series of community and public listening sessions as part of its work on a new strategic plan.

“BMCC is poised to move into the future with new efforts to align programs, outcomes and services to further enrich the lives of our students and the communities we serve”, said BMCC President Dr. Mark Browning. “Sitting down and hearing what are the needs and wants of our community partners is the first step in our work to formulate the plan that will guide Blue Mountain forward.”

Brown said the BMCC strategic plan will guide not only the overall direction of the college but serve as a catalyst for other campus planning and operational efforts such as strategic enrollment, facility usage and operational optimization. Input from the listening sessions will impact the development of the 2025-2028 strategic plan. BMCC’s current 2021-2024 strategic plan can be viewed online at bluecc.edu.

Sessions will be held throughout BMCC’s service district. Each session will be 90 minutes and feature a facilitator to help guide conversations, input and feedback.

For those that are not able to attend, written contributions are welcome. Visit the BMCC website for more details and a submission form.
