The 2014 United Way fundraising campaign is under way.
The United Way has been supporting nonprofit organizations in Umatilla County since 1953 and those in Morrow County since 2003. Its purpose is to make sure those organizations have the support and funding necessary to serve individuals and families in need.
Among the area organizations supported by the local United Way are area Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Good Samaritan Ministries, Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation, Agape House, Campus Life, the Stanfield Food Basket, Hermiston Band Boosters, Tonya’s House, Foster Grandparents and many more.
