Three Hermiston Bulldogs have three players on the 5A defensive all-state first team and four on the second team.
The Oregonian’s 5A all-state first team includes linemen Trey Neal and Landon Gammell and defensive back Carson Morter, who was also named to the offensive all-state first team as a receiver.

Named to the all-state defensive second team were lineman Luis Medina (also named to the offensive all-state first team as a kicker), linebacker Michael Gossler and defensive backs Ethan Snow and Tyler McCabe.
Silverton’s senior linebacker Sam Kuschnick was named the 5A defensive player of the year.
