Hermiston will mark 44 years of the Farm Fair Ag and Trade Show when it kicks off later this month at the Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center (EOTEC).

This year’s event begins on Wednesday, Nov. 29 and runs through Dec. 1 at EOTEC, 1705 E. Airport Road.

The trade show is a partnership with the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce and the Oregon State University Hermiston Agriculture Research and Extension Center. Local and regional agriculture-related businesses will display their services and products both inside and outside the center.

Topics and sessions include: Oregon Bee Project, Pollinator Workshop, Pesticides, Water, Potato Production, Organic Session, Cereal Session and more.  No pre-registration is required for the seminars; agriculture-related seminars will be offered all three days.  All sessions are free to attendees except for the core classes.  Oregon, Washington and Idaho pesticide recertification credits will be available. There are limited spots.  A full Farm Fair agenda with pesticide credit hours will be available by mid-November.

The Hermiston Farm Fair Banquet will be held on Thursday, Nov. 30 at the Hermiston Conference Center located at 415 S. Highway 395.  Tickets are $30 per person and are available at the Hermiston Chamber office and online at hermistonchamber.com.  All tables will be decorated and sponsored by various businesses, so everyone goes home with a gift.  A no-host social hour will begin the evening at 6 p.m. and dinner will follow.  Entertainment will be by John Wambeke and Friends.

For more information or to become a vendor or sponsor, call the chamber at 541-567-6151 or email the chamber at info@hermistonchamber.com.
